Feature Set:  

Standard Time offers features to help you track all your employees and projects. Additionally, this software will create invoices, manage all your customer contacts, assign employees to certain projects and report on almost every aspect of time tracking. Employees can even request time off with this product. However, you can't specify whether or not your employees get holiday pay or overtime like you can with other programs.

Ease of Use:  

On the left-hand navigation of this product, there are five options: Projects, Users, Task Completion, Date Range and Reports. By clicking on any of these options on the left navigation bar, you can only view the pre-existing projects and employee records. The only way we found to add employees and projects, is to click on the appropriate section in the drop down menu at the top of the screen. This is somewhat cumbersome—the program could be designed so it's more straightforward to navigate.

There are smaller icons at the top of the screen that allow you to enter the time when a project was completed and new expenses.

Ease of Installation:  

We had no problems during the installation and setup of this product.

Time Tracking Capabilities:  

Standard Time will track all of your expenses, employees and projects without having to purchase extra modules. You can track the vacation time, personal time and sick time of your employees. You can't track holiday time or overtime that your employees accrue.

Reporting Capabilities:  

Standard Time has 63 different reports available—everything from client and employee reports to project reports. You can also create pie charts and summaries so managers can make informed decisions.

Though Standard Time offers a fairly extensive feature set and tons of practical reports, it isn't as user-friendly as some of the other products in the review.
