Hierarchical Security Structure

With a hierarchical security structure, administrators now have total control over a user's visibility into departments , project s and user data stored in Web TimeSheet based on their placement within the company.

Improved Interface for List Pages

The User, Department, and Project list pages have been remodeled to include a more advanced interface. The entries are organized by department and can be moved between departments using the drag-and-drop method.

New Powerful Reporting Engine

The all new Dynamic Reports provide users the ability to create highly-customized reports for tracking and managing timesheets, expenses, employees and projects. Reports can be configured to display specific fields and filters, group data in rows and columns, sort data, and provide summaries. Additionally, the new graphical reports are generated using Macromedia Flash for enhanced usability.

Global TimeSheet Activities

Using the new Activities feature, common functions performed within multiple projects can be defined globally rather than within a specific project. Users are then assigned these global tasks and, depending on their permissions, can select them when entering time on their timesheet. By using activities, system administrators save time by defining these global functions just once, rather than in each and every project that requires them.
